Ann Arbor Learning Community celebrates K-8 students and cultivates individuality.  Since 1998 Ann Arbor Learning Community has educated students in classes with two or three grade levels.

Teacher needed for physical education classes for students in grades K - 8 as well as possible health classes for middle school students.  Salaried position will have an FTE of 0.2. Substitute Teacher Substitute teachers are needed at Ann Arbor Learning Community, a public charter school educating kindergarten through grade eight students. Substitute teachers will be positive, energetic role models for students. Substitute teachers may teach, supervise and/or support students during the school day (8:15 am - 3:25 pm). Groups or classes of twenty to twenty-five students will include a range of ages (grades) and skill levels. Instructional activities may be student-directed and could be outdoors. Qualified candidates have completed at least 90 semester hours of college credit, with at least a 2.0 GPA, at one four-year, regionally accredited institution. Teaching certification is helpful but not required. Experience with children and/or adolescents in a school or other public setting is preferred.
