Chandler Park Academy


Chandler Park Academy delivers academic excellence, character development and leadership for the urban child who would benefit from a culturally and academically enriched PreK-12 college and career preparatory education.


The Chandler Park Academy Middle School curriculum was developed and approved by Saginaw Valley State University and aligned to the Michigan Curriculum Framework in all content areas:

  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Fine Arts
  • Technology
  • Health/Physical Education

The curriculum is readily accessible by going to the Saginaw Valley State University School Partnership Office website: , or by contacting the SVSU main office.  The curriculum includes prepared lessons, resources, pacing guides, modification recommendations, labs, and activities that address content, teaching and learning standards as well as MDE content expectations for CPAMS. 


CPAMS believes that all students can and want to learn if provided the appropriate accommodations and levels of rigor that establish high expectations with necessary support.  Therefore, CPAMS provides continuous wraparound services that promote growth in character, intelligence and academic performance through various stages of student engagement.  Students continue to increase scholastic achievement through affective, behavioral, and cognitive engagement initiatives that promote lifelong learning through instructional relevance.
